From August 16 to 26, RIKEN participated in the “Thailand National Science and Technology Fair 2018” exhibition in Bangkok, the country’s largest science and technology fair of the year. It was visited by more than 1 million people; most of them were Thai students. RIKEN joined the fair as a part of Japan Pavilion. RIKEN booth featured introduction of RIKEN national science institute and programs for young researchers as well as RIKEN’s research collaboration with Chulalongcorn University in Thailand, and besides ordinary visitors, was visited by several VIPs from Thai science and research institutes and Japanese Embassy in Thailand.
